ABOUT

Bath Children’s Literature Festival is the largest dedicated children’s festival in Europe. Established in 2007, this festival has brought over 2,500 incredible author and illustrator events and workshops to Bath, enjoyed by over a ¼ of a million children, parents and teachers.

CAMPAIGN

This contract spanned over three years and included heading up the PR department, and acting as interim Head of Marketing. Responsibilities included all aspects of PR, engaging with a large database of ticket-buyers via newsletters, commissioning festivals videos, social media coverage at festivals, city dressing, and city-wide window dressing competitions to engage local businesses. Press coverage included print and online, radio and TV - regionally, in national consumer titles and trade titles.

Notable author and Illustrator events included David Walliams, Michael Morpurgo, Cressida Cowell, Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, Liz Pichon, Martin Brown and Terry Deary, Lauren Child, Jeff Kinney, Chris Hoy and Jo Nadin, and Miranda Hart to name but a few…
