CAMPAIGNS
I initially worked on all of the content for the new website, transferring over historical content and rewriting it, creating new pages, writing new words, and choosing photography and video content. I have a good working knowledge of WordPress and web development and design.
I then decided to bring two clients together and form Americana Fest, a collaboration between The & Hills Festival and the American Museum. Coinciding with celebrations for Independence Day in the US, the festival took place from 1st to 3rd July at the American Museum and it included an all-American comedy bill, with comedian Reginald D Hunter headlining on the Friday; award- winning star of the Americana music scene, Robert Vincent & Band headlining on the Saturday; and folk-rock legends, The Magic Numbers closing the festival on the Sunday.
I worked with the museum’s Chairman, Head of Marketing and The 7 Hills’ organisers to deliver press coverage for this new festival, and generate ticket sales to a much wider audience than the museum’s usual demographic. I generated multiple regional and national articles, radio interviews, and reviews in trade titles. It was all hands on deck!
